What are the common stamping methods for stamped parts?

⑴. Reasonable die structure design. In progressive dies, the sequencing of blanking operations can directly affect the accuracy of the stamped parts’ forming process. To improve the blanking precision for small and delicate features of stamped parts, it is generally advisable to first arrange blanking operations with larger areas, followed by blanking operations with relatively smaller unit areas, thereby reducing the impact of punching forces on the forming of the stamped parts.
⑵ Press the material. By overcoming the conventional mold design structure—where the material can be pressed only when the mold is closed—in the critical forming section, the knockout plate must be designed as a block-like structure to address wear caused by prolonged stamping times and the inability to eject the material promptly.
⑶. Add a strong-pressure function: Specifically, increase the thickness of the pressing section on the unloading insert to enhance the pressure exerted on the material on the cavity side, thereby preventing the stamped part from flipping over or undergoing torsional deformation during punching.
⑷ The inclined surface of the punch or the arc-shaped, repaired blade end. This is an effective way to reduce the punching force. By slowing down the punching speed, we can reduce the tensile stress on the core side of the material, thereby suppressing the inward curling and distortion of the punched material.
⑸. In the daily production of molding tools for teaching purposes, attention should be paid to maintaining the sharpness of the cutting edges of both the punch and die. When the dimensions of the cutting edges wear down, the material and the tensile stress it experiences will increase, thereby intensifying the tendency for the stamped parts to warp and twist.
⑹ Irregularly hidden gaps or crevices causing unevenness must be addressed by connecting the stamped material and twisted pair cables, which need to be overcome.
